- Is your pool fence at least 1200mm high all the way around the pool area?
- Are the gaps between the bottom of the fence and the ground no greater than 100mm?
- Are the horizontal rails on your pool fence no closer than 900mm apart?
- Are the gaps between the pool fence vertical rails or bars no greater than 100mm apart?
- If your pool fence has mesh or perforated material, are the holes no greater than 13mm?
- Is your pool fence in good repair and fixed securely, with no damages?
- Does the pool gate open outwards away from the pool?
- Does the pool gate self-close and self-latch from all open positions?
- Are the gate hinges at least 900mm apart or are non-climbable safety caps installed?
- If gate latch is on the outside, is the latch lever at least 1500mm off the ground and 1400mm above the top part of the lower horizontal railings?
- If gate latch is on the inside, is the latch lever at least 150mm below the top of the fence and covered with a 450mm radius shield on the outside?
- No climbable objects within 900mm on the outside and 300mm on the inside?
- Is there a compliant CPR sign that is easily visible to anyone near the pool?
- No doors which provide direct access from the house to the pool area?
- Windows in the pool area fitted with security screens or open no greater than 100mm?
- Is your pool registered on the QBCC Pool Register?
